Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Doctoral Scholarships

The Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Doctoral Scholarships are prestigious awards given to outstanding doctoral students in the social sciences and humanities.  It is given to those who are conducting research related to one of the foundation's four themes; Human Rights and Dignity, Responsible Citizenship, Canada in the World, and People and their Natural Environment. The scholarships provide recipients with up to $60,000 per year for up to four years, as well as additional funding for travel, research, and networking opportunities. In addition to financial support, scholars also benefit from the Foundation's community of scholars and mentors, which provides opportunities for interdisciplinary dialogue, leadership development, and public engagement.
