The Developing Solutions Scholarship Programme is intended for international students from Africa, India, or one of the chosen Commonwealth countries who desire to pursue a Master's Degree at the University of Nottingham and make a difference to the development of their home country.

Value and inclusions of the scholarship:

50–100% of the total required tuition amount



Eligibility

In order to submit an application for this scholarship, you must:

• have their primary residence in either Africa, India, or one of the other designated Commonwealth nations (listed above)

• be considered an international student for tuition and other fee purposes

• have an offer to begin a full-time master's program (including an MRes) at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom in October 2023. 

This program must be in either the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Faculty of Science, or Faculty of Social Sciences.




You are not eligible if you are a student at the University of Nottingham, have graduated from that institution, or have attended another university outside of your home country. 

Applicants who have not previously attended school in a country other than their own will be given priority. 

Students who are currently enrolled in an educational institution in the United Kingdom are not eligible to apply.

Applications are not being accepted at this time.


Before being eligible to submit an application for the scholarship, applicants must first have submitted an application to study a full-time master's program (including an MRes) at the University of Nottingham and obtained an offer to do so. 

You can submit your application through the MyNottingham portal, which has a dedicated section for scholarship opportunities. 

The date of the deadline is set for Friday, May 20th, 2023. (midnight, UK time).
