Why do you need a UAE Entry Visa?
If you need a visa to enter the United Arab Emirates, you must apply for and receive a UAE Entry Permit. According to your destination and purpose of travel, it is only good for a specific number of days.
Prior to your departure, your sponsor must apply for a visa at the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA). The length of time you can spend in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) after obtaining an entry visa is conditional on your reason for visiting the country.
You can enter the country for a maximum of 48 or 96 hours with a transit visa.
As a tourist, you get 30 days to enjoy the country after entering with the appropriate paperwork (ie. tourist visa).
You can work legally in the country for up to 60 days with an employment visa.

Mongolia and Liberia
Aside from the IATA's website, I have been unable to find any other references to the fact that people of Liberia and Mongolia do not need a visa to enter the United States.
Grenada
According to the United Arab Emirates Embassy in London and the UAE government's website, nationals of Grenada can get a 90-day UAE visa upon arrival.
None of this is supported by the websites of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) or the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Nauru
Nauruans do not need a visa to enter the United Arab Emirates, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' website, but this is not reflected on the IATA or UAE government portals.
Islands of Solomon
Citizens of the Solomon Islands do not require a visa to enter the United Arab Emirates, per the Ministry of Foreign Affairs's website. The official Government of UAE website does not confirm this fact.
Should I Get a Dubai Visa in Addition to My UAE Visa?
You don't, in fact. Since Dubai is not a sovereign nation, residents of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) visa requirements do not apply to them. To visit Dubai, or any of the other emirates in the United Arab Emirates, you only need a valid visa.

The Different Types of UAE Visas
There are primarily four categories of visas available in the United Arab Emirates.
Tourist visas to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are granted for visits of less than 30 days and do not call for the holder to establish permanent residence or seek employment in the UAE.
All non-UAE nationals who intend to permanently reside in the country must first get a UAE Residence Visa. In this regard, we can name the following:

Visas for Permanent Residence (Investor Visa) are granted for 5-10 years and do not require a sponsor. In order to qualify for this visa, however, you must make a sizable financial investment in the United Arab Emirates.
People from other countries who need to pass through the United Arab Emirates are granted transit visas. Visas of this type typically have a validity period of either 48 or 96 hours.
For those interested, let's define a "Resident Visa for the United Arab Emirates."
If you are a non-UAE national and want to live in the UAE, you will require a Residence Visa. The catch is that they need to apply for an Entry Permit beforehand. The United Arab Emirates has two types of visas: entrance permits and residency visas.
If you are already in the UAE with an Entry Permit but would like to extend your stay beyond the 30-day maximum allowed by that visa, you will need to apply for a UAE Residence Visa. Your Residence Visa application must be sponsored by an individual who satisfies GDRFA's criteria.
Rules for Obtaining a Visa to the United Arab Emirates
- It is important to bring a number of documents with you when applying for a tourist visa to the United Arab Emirates.
- Passport photocopies for both you and your sponsor are required. You'll need a passport that's valid for at least the next six months.
- Documentation in the form of a photocopy of the appropriate pages from the passport. You may not always have to show your actual passport. Photocopies of the passport pages in question may be included (or all the pages on your passport).
- Pictures taken with a passport camera, the size required for a UAE visa.
- Women who are solo female travelers must have a "No Objection Certificate" (NOC) from their father or husband.
- A return or onward flight ticket with confirmation of purchase. Please note that your airline application will only be accepted with a ticket purchased on their airline.
- Evidence that you have a somewhere to stay, such a hotel receipt.
- Documentation of UAE medical coverage purchase.
- Your letter explaining why and how long you'll be in town
In order to prove your citizenship, we require proof of legal residence (ie. your visa or residence permit). Only non-citizens of the nation in which they currently reside need apply.
Assuming You Have a Host:
- Identification that proves your connection to the host
- Their right to call the area home by showing us residency documentation: Your host's Emirates ID and/or a copy of their UAE Resident Visa
- A demonstration of their ability to pay: A notarized copy of their employment agreement or their most recent pay stub
Receipts from your past trips:

Even though citizens of the GCC states are exempt from visa requirements, their family members and friends who are also traveling with them can apply for a visa online and receive expedited processing. Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates are all members of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

The visa application process involves providing an address where you may be contacted and then receiving the visa in the mail. Your visa for the United Arab Emirates is valid for 30 days, and can be extended for another 30 days.
You cannot use the online site to apply if you are a resident of the GCC and you are traveling alone (not with a GCC national).
To what extent does a visa to the United Arab Emirates allow for multiple-year stays?
Visas for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are valid for entry into the nation for up to 60 days from the date they are issued. How long you can stay in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) after you enter will vary according upon your reason for visiting.
