HEC-Eiffel Scholarships in MBA for Developing Countries

Scholarship applications will be available to all accepted candidates for the HEC Paris MBA. The work of the HEC Foundation allows us to provide students with almost €1,000,000 in financial aid each year.

For international students wishing to study abroad, France is a popular option. Living and studying in France is not always affordable, though. While annual tuition at public universities ranges from €200 to €600, at private universities it can reach €10,000.

The annual average for living expenses is €10,000. Thankfully, there are several French scholarships available for international students.

Brief description

The Eiffel Scholarship, introduced in January 1999 by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Ministère des Affaires Etrangères), aims to increase international recruiting at French higher education institutions at a time when developed nations are competing more fiercely for the best foreign students.

The Eiffel Scholarship offers recipients a monthly stipend of about €1,100 and covers extra costs including travel, health insurance, and cultural events. The award does not include tuition costs.

Eligibility:

• This scholarship is only open to accepted candidates (Full-time option).

• Candidates who are 30 years old or younger

• Only candidates of non-French nationality may apply (applicants with dual nationality, one of which is French, are not eligible).
