The Women in Finance Scholarship for FINCAD 2022 has begun! Application for this excellent opportunity is encouraged on the FINCAD website from qualified women pursuing a postgraduate degree in finance. 

Emerging female financial leaders continue to receive support from FINCAD, the Capital Markets Group of Zafin. 

Our yearly fellowship program honors gifted young women who wish to further their studies in order to work in derivatives finance, market risk management, or financial asset management in the capital markets. 

We are extremely proud of our role in accelerating the winner's successful entry into the financial sector.

Brief description

In order to encourage and assist exceptional women in the finance industry who wish to pursue graduate-level courses, FINCAD launched the annual FINCAD Women in Finance Scholarship.

Value and components of the scholarship

In 2014, FINCAD introduced the Women in Finance Scholarship. Since then, we have given a US$20,000 scholarship each year to a deserving female student to help fund her graduate-level studies in finance. 50% of the grant goes to the winner, and the remaining 50% goes to the school to help with tuition.


Eligibility

All female residents of all nations are encouraged to apply. 

In order to qualify for the 2023 scholarship, you must:

• Be enrolled and attending the program full-time during the 2023–2024 academic year 

• Have less than 10 years of total work experience and less than 5 years of professional experience in the financial field. 

• Have started your post-graduate Finance studies no earlier than 1 January 2023 or no later than 1 February 2024.


Application Guidelines

There is an online application process. A 30 June 2023 deadline has been set for applicants.
