Brief description

The Lund University Global Scholarship program is a selective, merit-based scholarship program that recognizes top academic students from countries outside the European Union/European Economic Area (and Switzerland) who wish to apply for a Bachelor's or Master's Program that is offered at Lund University. 

The scholarship program is called the Lund University Global Scholarship and it is administered by Lund University.

Scholarship benefits and inclusions are as follows:

There is a possibility that the scholarships will cover 25%, 50%, 75%, or even 100% of the whole tuition cost. Please take into consideration that scholarships can only be applied toward the cost of tuition; they do not cover any other expenses.

Eligibility

You must satisfy all of the following requirements in order to be qualified to submit an application for a scholarship:

• You are required to pay a tuition fee and must be a citizen of a nation that is not part of the EU/EEA (or Switzerland) in order to enroll.

• You must have submitted an application for a Bachelor's or Master's level program during one of the standard application rounds for a minimum of one semester of study in order to be eligible for this scholarship (30 ECTS)

Instructions for submitting an application

The application period has currently ongoing.

You must first apply for the program(s) or free-standing course(s) you wish to study at Lund University using the online, national application website, www.universityadmissions.se during the application period (18 October – 17 January 2023) for studies starting in the autumn semester before you can apply for a Lund University Global Scholarship. 

Take note that the application period for some programs does not begin until the 1st of December.

You will be able to submit an application for the scholarship on the official website during the period in which applications are being accepted for the scholarship if you have already made a full application to a degree program or to free-standing courses with at least 30 ECTS credits, as well as paid the application fee.
