Brief description

An Excellence Fellowship Program has been established by the Faculty of Science at the University of Geneva in collaboration with a number of sponsors. 

The purpose of this program is to provide financial assistance to outstanding and highly motivated candidates who intend to pursue a Master of Science degree in one of the scientific fields that are covered by the Faculty.

The value of the scholarship ranges from 10,000 to 15,000 Swiss Francs each year. 

It is granted for one year and can be extended for the regular duration of the chosen Master's program (three or four semesters) provided the applicant is successful academically at the end of his or her first semester of studies.

Eligibility

This program is for you if you are one of the finest students in your graduating class, regardless of the school from which you originally graduated or from which you are currently pursuing an outstanding bachelor's degree. 

To get an Excellence Fellowship, you will first need to demonstrate that you are qualified to enroll in the Master's program of your choice and then you will need to be chosen based on the information contained in your application.

Instructions for submitting an application:

Each prospective student is required to follow the enrolling procedure as outlined on the website maintained by the Admissions office in order for their application to be taken into consideration. 

The application must be submitted digitally commencing in the month of January. 

After registration, you will be sent an email that contains a personal link to the application form. Using this link, you will be able to complete the application. 

The deadline for submission of applications is March 15th, 2023.
