Brief description

With the Excellence Scholarship & Opportunity Programme, ETH Zurich provides financial assistance to outstanding students who are interested in pursuing a Master's degree at ETH (ESOP).

In addition to covering housing and educational costs (to the tune of CHF 12,000 per semester), the Excellence Scholarship/ESOP also includes a tuition fee waiver.

This scholarship will be provided for the duration of the Master's program as it is normally offered (three or four semesters). The same holds true for the reduction or elimination of tuition costs.

Eligibility

Outstanding students from the ETH as well as those from other universities (both domestic and international) who are interested in pursuing their Master's degree at ETH Zurich are eligible to apply for the scholarship programs.

You are need to have a very good outcome in their Bachelor's (top 10% of Bachelor's program = grade A) in order to be considered. 

You must also make sure that you can be reached at the telephone number that was included in your curriculum vitae, as there is a possibility that there will be a phone interview or VC interview in February.

Guidelines for submitting applications:

Applicant must have applied for ETH for studies.

In order to be considered for the scholarship, you are required to submit an application to ETH Zurich's Master's degree program. 

In addition to the documentation required for admission to the Master's program, you will be required to upload a pre-proposal for your Master's thesis. 

Before the 15th of December in 202, the scholarship application form, along with any supporting documentation, must be submitted online.
