Value and inclusions of the scholarship

The amount of the scholarship might range anywhere from €2,000 to €25,000, depending on the department that it will be awarded to. 

There is a possibility that the Amsterdam Merit Scholarship will be augmented by the Holland Scholarship, which is a program that the University of Amsterdam is actively involved in.

Eligibility:

Students who do not hold a passport from a member state of the EU or EEA and who have enrolled to a degree program at the University of Amsterdam are eligible to submit an application for an Amsterdam Merit Scholarship.

It is recommended that applications be sent to the Admissions Offices of the Graduate Schools. On the webpages of either the Faculty or the Graduate School, the specific eligibility requirements, selection criteria, and application instructions can all be found. 

The application deadline for scholarships varies from faculty to faculty. The deadline for the majority of faculties is January 15th, 2023, however for some, it is March 1st, 2023.
