International students who are enrolling to enroll in the first year of Illinois Wesleyan University's bachelor's programs are eligible for need-based financial aid, President's Scholarships, and merit-based scholarships. 

Students may also be qualified for scholarships, loans, and jobs on campus that are financed by IWU in addition to merit-based awards.

Value and components of the scholarship

• Merit-based Scholarships: These awards are renewable for up to four years and range in value from $16,000 to $30,000.
• President's Scholarships: These full-tuition awards are renewable for up to four years of study.

Eligibility

Merit-Based Scholarships: Applicants must be overseas students who have achieved high academic standards and received the required test scores on the entrance tests.

President's Scholarships: Candidates must be exceptionally talented overseas students, as determined by their skills, passions, and academic success.

Merit-Based Scholarships: Applicants who submit an admissions application are automatically considered for scholarships; no additional scholarship application is necessary.

Application deadline for the President's Scholarship is February 15, 2022, for entry in the fall of 2022.

Financial Aid Based on Need: International students applying for financial aid must submit the CSS PROFILE. A thorough evaluation of a candidate's financial resources is provided in the PROFILE. 

For Fall 2022 admission, the earliest date that the CSS PROFILE should be submitted is January 1, 2022.
